Most of the injuries that we see in the office during this time of the year occur when people are BEGINNING their projects in the great outdoors. For example, moving the second bag of mulch from the truck to the garden, or planting the 4th perennial in the garden. People feel a pull or a twinge in their back, and then something is just not right. The next day they wake up and call us for an appointment to get “fixed back up”. There is one simple way to help prevent this from becoming an occurrence during your spring planting season, and it is one little word. Can you guess it? That’s right…STRETCHING!!! A simple two-minute stretch routine can help prevent many of the injuries and ouches we experience as we go through our spring projects. We show different range of motion tests to check for subluxation at home, and while you’re at it, just hold the stretch at the furthest most comfortable
